CFO Guidance and Counseling for K1 (and Spouse) with Foreign Partners 

All Filipino Fiancé/e/s, spouses and partners of Foreign Nationals or former Filipino citizens are required to attend the CFO Guidance and Counseling Seminar.  This seminar is a requirement in compliance with RA 10364 (An act expanding the Anti-Trafficking in Person Act of 2012) for intermarriages and RA 8239 of Department of Foreign Affairs for spouses of foreign nationals or former Filipino citizens who are applying for a passport adopting the surnames of their foreign husband. 

You cannot be allowed to depart the Country if you don't have the CFO Sticker and Certificate (GCC) from attending the CFO. So this is equally important as your VISA. 

PROCESS IN GETTING GCC AND CFO STICKER 

A. with Visa 

1.  Register On-line to book your preferred schedule. They are NOT ACCEPTING WALK-IN APPLICANTS. 

2. Go to CFO Website: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/

3. Click GCP to access online appointment system 

You can choose to attend in Manila or Cebu at your convenience. 

4. Answer the following, this will      check if you are required to attend the GCP. You need a valid email address that you can access to proceed. 

Note: Your partner can register you on this and send you the Confirmation when done to print and bring to the Seminar. 

5. Then check your email as advised. 

6. Confirm your email address and proceed with the appointment process. 

7.  Select your preferred schedule. 

8.  Provide the necessary information and click SUBMIT at the bottom of the questionnaire. 

9. Upon submission you will get a confirmation of the appointment with your details. 

10. Print and bring to the CFO - GCP schedule.   

B. without Visa 

1. Follow registration process

2. upon completion of the CFO/ GCP proceed to Ground Floor for payment

3. They will release a GC Certificate. 

4. come back with your Visa/ Passport to get the sticker attached on your passport. 

CFO / GCP Seminar Process 

1. Arrive at the CFO Office at least 1.5 hours before your schedule. I was there at 6:30am for a 9am schedule and it was way too early. They started letting people in by 7:30am. So getting there by 7:30 am is more reasonable. 

2. On the Guard - show passport, appointment confirmation and 1 photo ID. The guard will take the ID and will give you a badge with F on it. Then you will be instructed to proceed to 3rd Floor. 

3. 3rd Floor - approach the counter and you will be given another form/s. I already have the other form they are asking to fill-out so I only filled out one set of forms. They will ask if you already have a Visa. 

   Questions of the Form/s: 

      1. Bio Info- you and fiance/e

      2. Fiance's Mother's maiden name

      3. Educational background- you and fiance/e
      4. Address in the US, address in PH, contact person in PH not travelling with you
      5. Visa / Passport Details 
      6. Any K2 / derivatives details 
      7. Questions are basically very easy (mostly the same questions will be asked during
          the one -on one interview with the counselor) 

4. Submit Forms, you will be asked some questions, like fiance's birthday and then photo 
     capture. I was not asked to submit a photo. That photo will reflect on your GC 
     Certificate. 

5. They will advise you on your room assignment, there will be around 10-15 people in the 
    room. They group together per Country (US, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, etc). Eat 
   breakfast if you haven't not eaten yet, the seminar will through until past noon. I ate breakfast but I was starving when I finally received my sticker and GCC by around 2pm. 

6. You will be called for the one on one interview. This will start around 9:30am; the interview will be just outside the seminar venue, the reception area. So nothing intimidating about the room. 

7. One person after the other will be called, after all has been called; they will start the presentation. The presentation is 1.5 - 2 hours. 

One on one interview questions and discussions: 

   Asked for Passport and they will keep it. 

1. How did we meet? when, where, first meeting, etc. 

2. His previous wife was a Filipina too so more questions on that. They actually checked the ex-wife's name on their database of CFO certificates to check if she was also K1 or Spouse visa, the counselor told me this. So I told her the x wife migrated when was around 13 and they met in the states. 

3. Reason of divorce? Didn't ask for a copy of divorce papers. 

4. Talk about his children, custody, visitations, have I meet the kids, how are they? etc. I have been in the States twice and have been going out with my fiance and his kids when i am there. 

5. Have i met the x wife? I said no, I mentioned we go to their house to pick up the kids but never met her. 

6. Asked if I was married, i mentioned I had an annulment. ask for a copy of my Cenomar and annotated MC. She said she don't need a copy of my annulment papers- it was too personal. although i have a copy with me. 

7. Reason of annulment, talked about child's custody. My kids are 17 and 20 yrs old so no issues since they are all grown up. But I mentioned when was the last time they saw their dad which was 14 years ago.

8.  When we plan to get married, I mentioned month this year. 
9. Ask for a copy of my fiance's Passport 

NO photos asked or any communication documents. 

After the Seminar, the counselor will advise you to proceed to the GF for payment. 

Prepare P400.00 wait for your name to be called at Window 7. 

Wait for your name to be called at window 6 - present OR, release of the Passport with sticker and CFO GCC.

Fiancé/e Visa Application (K1 / K2 Visa) and Requirements
     K1 Visa is for the Fiancé/e of a US Citizen and K2 Visa is for the minor Children, 21 years         old and below of the K1 Visa  holder 
       The Process below is Embassy specific to US Embassy Manila, Philippines

To USC/ Petitioner, this process is applicable when you already done all of the following: 

1. filed I-129 F Petition for your foreign Fiancé/e with USCIS 

2. Received your Notice of Action (I-797), the Approval commonly called among those on the process as NOA2 (Notice of Action 2, the  Notice of Action 1 is Form I-797C which is the notice of receipt of your application); 

3. CASE NUMBER from NVC and Medical Examination. If you don't have the CASE NUMBER (MNL xxxxxxx ) , call NVC  Tel No. 603 334 0700 6am to 12MN EST. Be ready with your Receipt Number and a long waiting time. Well call early in the morning, I called 9:30am EST and waited for 15 mins. 

The requirements and process below is advised with your NOA 2. If you have not done your Medical yet, please click HERE. 

You must pay the K visa application fee before you can schedule your appointment.  Re-check the most currents fees. Print the MRV and pay your Visa. Bring a copy of your Passport. 

The application fee for a K1 or K2 nonimmigrant visa is US $265, payable only in Philippine pesos at the prevailing exchange rate. There are three ways to pay the K visa application fee: cash payment at any Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch, online payment provided by BPI to their clients; or online payment via Bancnet. After 24 hours, you can now enter your receipt number to ustraveldocs to make your interview appointment. 

After paying your visa application fee, schedule your visa interview appointment by visiting the U.S. Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph or calling (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502. This service is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers may speak with an English-, Tagalog-, Ilocano-, or Cebuano-speaking operator. Applicants, agents or petitioners calling from the United States may also use this service by calling (703) 520-2235.

    I made my appointment through ustraveldocs. Register at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph and key in all     your related info including delivery address.  

You must bring the following documentation when you come to the Embassy for your interview. 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 

You must submit ALL ORIGINAL civil documents to facilitate your application. You may be asked to return for another appointment if you fail to bring any of these documents:

  

1. ONLINE NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION (DS-160) CONFIRMATION PAGE. You must print the DS-160  Confirmation Page that contains the barcode information and bring it to your interview, just bring the first page only. If you have not done your DS 160 yet, click HERE. 

 2. PASSPORT. Must be valid for at least six (6) months. 

Bring all previous Passport especially if you have previous US Visa of any category even if it was expired. It is also better to know your previous travel to US. 

Please also consider that you cannot travel if your passport is below 6 months valid, thus if your passport is expiring within the year just go ahead and renew in advance and bring the new passport in the interview. Your passport probably is your only valid identification when you move to the states, you don't want to have an expired passport in a new country. Renewing through a Philippine consulate abroad is far more inconvenient than to do it here. I still wanted a new passport though with my married name on it. ahhaha 

3. BIRTH CERTIFICATE. Must be issued by the Philippines Statistics Office  (PSA, formerly NSO). When you request for a copy from PSA, get several copies. You need this for future requirements.  The embassy will get the original.  

4. POLICE REPORT (NBI Clearance). Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance (for travel abroad purposes) from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names. An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of “No criminal record” or "No pending case”. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is valid for one (1) year after its issuance date. 

For the interview, your NBI Clearance should not be more than 6 months from the sate of issuance. There were some instances that applicant were asked to submit a new NBI clearance because their NBI is more than 6 months. This was based on some experiences of some applicants. In my case, I had an annulment of my previous marriage, thus my NBI has an AKA which was my previous married name. You can apply NBI Clearance by registering on-line. 

         a. OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERTIFICATES. Applicants aged 16 years and older must also present police certificates from other countries where they have lived for six (6) months or more after reaching age 16. As with NBI clearances, foreign police certificates should be obtained in any maiden names, aliases or nicknames used while in the country in question, including different spellings you have used of those names. Country-specific information on how to secure police certificates is available on the State Department’s website at http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country.html.

       b. COURT AND PRISON RECORDS. Applicants who have been arrested, charged or convicted of a crime must present copies or transcripts of court or prison records relating to the crime or offense.

          c. MILITARY OR POLICE SERVICE RECORDS: Applicants who served in the military or police should present certified copies of their military or police service records.

5. EVIDENCE OF A GENUINE ENGAGEMENT. You must prove to the consular officer that you have a genuine relationship with your petitioner and a clear intention to marry within 90 days of admission into the United States. You can submit photographs, letters, e-mails, phone records, bank records and remittance records as evidence supporting their relationships and intent to marry. 

I brought a new Letter of Intent to Marry, some photos (don't make an album, printed photos with noted at the back when and where it was taken is fine)- mine is printed colored on paper lay-out in word file and I put it on a clear sheet. 

6. PROOF OF TERMINATION OF A PRIOR MARRIAGE. Submit official documents (divorce decree, annulment decree or death certificate, etc.) that prove all prior marriages contracted by you and the petitioner have been legally terminated prior to the filing of the petition. 

This includes all marriages even if it was ages ago or terminated by death. Non-disclosure of all previous marriages can cause DENIAL. 

7. CERTIFICATE OF NO MARRIAGE RECORD (CENOMAR). You must also submit a CENOMAR issued by the PSA, formerly NSO and printed on PSA security paper if you have never contracted a marriage or as deemed necessary by a consular officer.

If you had a previous marriage which was terminated or annulled, PSA will issue a Certificate of  Marriage (CEMAR) with annotations that the marriage was annulled. 

8. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form may be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You may also be asked to submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Download Form I-134 and here's the instructions. Always check the most current forms. 

I brought my fiance's most recent Form 1040, W2, Employment certificate and I-134 (wet signature). Although none of these were asked from me during the interview.  

9. VISA PHOTOGRAPHS. You must bring three (3) color photographs; two for the visa and one for the medical report. Follow the Photo Guide. 
I was only asked to submit one photo at Step 1 during the Interview. Nevertheless, just bring extra phtos. 

  

10. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS) DOCUMENTS: If you have applied for any benefit, such as a change of status, adjustment of status, or asylum, before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), or have been the subject of any enforcement proceedings, such as deportation or removal proceedings, please bring all related documents with you to the interview.

If you also have any other petition filled in your behalf with USCIS/NVC, bring your NOA2 or Approval Notice or any document you have. They asked for my existing F2B Petition and my priority date. This was asked in Step 2 and CO Interview. 

11. MEDICAL EXAMINATION. All K1 and K2 visa applicants must bring a medical examination report from St. Luke’s Medical Center Extension Clinic which is on a sealed envelope. Click HERE to read my Medical Exam Blog. 

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FROM THE US EMBASSY MANILA  

Come To The Embassy On Your Appointed Interview Date.

If you are eligible for a K1 or K2 visa, your passport with the approved visa will be delivered to your designated delivery address at no additional cost. The Embassy uses a guaranteed courier service to handle visa deliveries. 2GO commercial courier is the Embassy's authorized courier service provider for visas. Delivery should be within two weeks from your visa issuance. Applicants also have the option to pick up visas at any 2GO branch.

  This can be case to case basis, I received my Passport/ Visa Packet 3 working days after issued staus on CEAC. My delivery address is just Makati City. This will vary depending on your location.   

If we have questions about your application, we will send a letter asking you to submit additional documents, or to return to the Embassy for another interview. No Embassy representative is authorized to tell you that a visa has been approved until a consular officer authorizes printing of the visa.

For the safety and security of all applicants and employees, visa applicants cannot bring cell phones or other electronic devices into the U.S. Embassy. Applicants who bring such devices are denied entry. Please arrange to leave electronic equipment in a safe location off Embassy grounds during your interview appointment.

 Leave your phone in your Hotel room or at home. I survived 6 hours without a phone :) . If you happened to have any electronic devices by mistake (USB, memory cards, etc), you can leave it to the vendors outside the embassy at your own risk with a FEE.  They offer the services. 

We strive to return documents that you submitted and asked us to return, but do not give us anything that cannot be replaced. Make copies of important documents and submit copies with the originals you want returned to you.

A K1/K2 visa is NOT an immigrant visa, nor a permanent resident card (green card); it is a nonimmigrant visa permitting travel to the United States to marry your petitioner within 90 days of entry. Once married, you must apply with USCIS to adjust status as a legal permanent resident (LPR). Travel outside the United States while adjustment of status is pending may have severe consequences. Contact USCIS before traveling, even for an emergency, to see if you need a travel document to re-enter the United States. A K1/K2 is a single-entry visa. Once you enter U.S. territory, e.g., Guam, you cannot re-enter the United States on the same visa if your onward flight transits a third country.

 Minor children identified on the approved I-129F petition may follow to join their petitioned parent. However, such follow-to-join K2 visas can only be issued within one year from the time the parent was issued a K1 visa. After one (1) year, they no longer derive immigration benefits from the I-129F petition and you or your spouse must file an immediate relative or second preference petition for them to qualify again.

If you have one or more children not listed on the visa petition, or a current pregnancy, or a prior undisclosed marriage even if it is now terminated, or currently have a contagious disease of public health significance, be prepared to present a notarized letter from the petitioner stating he/she knows the discrepancies between facts stated on the petition and your actual personal circumstances, and still wishes to proceed with marriage.

 Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of property, or resign from your job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you. Generally, a single-entry fiancé(e) (K1) nonimmigrant visa is valid for six months from the date of issuance, unless its validity is limited by medical or other restrictions.

 Validity is 6 months from your first day of Medical Examination. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO FIANCE(E) DERIVATIVE (K2) APPLICANTS

A fiance(e) derivative (K2) applicant must apply and be issued a visa (if qualified) within one (1) year from the date the fiance(e) (K1) visa was issued. Therefore, we strongly urge K2 applicants to apply for a visa as soon as possible, potentially as early as four months after K1 issuance.

Our K1 and K2 (K1-Fiancée Visa with K2- Children) Visa Interview Experience
  Update: Jan. 11, 2016 interview, Jan. 21, 2016 Visa received (8 days from interview)  

  Consular Office: US Embassy Manila Philippines 

Our schedule was January 11, 2016 at 7:30am. I intend to be there by 6:30am but we were caught up in an early morning traffic. Our apartment is just 10 mins. to the Embassy but it took us almost 30 minutes to get there. If you are far from the US Embassy, plan your travel time ahead; traffic are so unpredictable.

We got there before 7:00am and the line was already long for K1/K2. All other line were much longer. Ask the guard where is the K1/K2 line, we stand behind of maybe 60 applicant. All the other longer lines were  for tourist Visa, seafarers and Immigrant Visa.

At exactly 7am the line moved and we line up again as directed. The staffs in Orange uniforms are screening your documents, prepare only:

1. Passport

2. Confirmation of appointment, 1^st page only,

3. DS 160 Confirmation page, 1^st page only

The staff will attached a sticker at the back of your passport and they will put this on a plastic zip lock. The sticker contains your name and confirmation of appointment number. 

  Note: There was a separate line for K1/K2 applicant, make sure you are in that line. The other lines are for Tourist Visa   and Immigrant Visa.

You will be directed to enter the door and proceed to line up again inside. Here everyone will line up to get a number, the line was too long but they announced that K1/K2 should get out of the line and proceed to Window 2 – so we went ahead of so many Visa applicants. Present your Passport and DS 160 Form – She will attached a number on your DS 160 Form and instruct to drop your DS 160 to Window 38. Our Number is 7051. 

None of the Proof of ongoing relationship
was asked from me. 

I lay-out our photos in word file and made notes
when/ where it was taken and print them in color.
Insert them in a plastic sleeve, fasten so that it can
easily be flipped.  Plastic sleeves are available in
any bookstore.
DO NOT MAKE AN ALBUM.
It will not fit on the slot in the counters.  

Window 38 is inside of the Embassy building itself. Pass the waiting area and go through the door and submit all bags to be checked, walk through the scanner and pick-up your bag. Window 38 is just straight ahead from that entry. In our case, before I could reached Window 38 a staff in Orange uniform took my forms and told us to wait for our numbers to be called outside at the waiting area. We went outside and wait. It was not even more than 5 minutes when they started calling numbers. Our number was called, she instructed us to line up then we were told to proceed to STEP 1 - Biometrics.

STEP 1 - Biometrics : 1^st window, Filipino – submit passports and DS 160, I was asked how many applicants,  my Name, age of my Children and address in US. Asked for 1 photo. My Children were asked of their name and birthday and 1 2x2 photo. The lady asked if I have other names, she said there was another name showing up on her computer so I said it could be my previous name, I had an annulment. I mentioned my previous name but she didn’t say anything after that. Then we were asked to proceed to the Finger Scanning; Chinese American staff – submit passport and Embassy The Embassy Letter with MNL number. You can also screen shot the status of your case from CEAC, print that and bring it to the interview. 

The lady asked for the embassy letter (this is the letter that was sent by US Embassy Manila- Packet 3); they need the letter for the MNL number. If you don’t have the letter  make sure you have any document reference of your MNL Number. Of course I brought my Embassy letter; I brought the sink with me. :) 

She asked me of my name and birthday and asked me to place my right four finger on the scanner, then my left then 2 thumbs. There were illustrations on how to do it so don’t worry. The same procedure for my 2 children. Then we were asked to proceed to STEP 2A.  You will be assigned to A,B,C depending on the ending number of your number. Ours was 7051 so we were assigned to A (0,1,2); B (3,4,5) and so on.. Listen to the instructions where to proceed next so that you will not have to go back and ask again. If you did not hear the instructions (sometimes due to the glass window you cannot hear it clearly) asked again before leaving the counter. They have a mic but some of them are not using it.

Step 2: A Pre-screening, Filipino staff. It took us 1.5 hours to wait for our turn. I also observed that this is the longest Step during that day. There were only 3 windows open compared to B where all 6 windows are open. I wished we were ending 3. Finally our turn, present your passports and DS 160. She will return your DS 160, she just need to see the number. She will go to get your I-129F file. YES, they have your file. PINK FOLDERS for K1/K2 applicants! J All of the docs you submitted with the I-129F Application is on that folder; all of it.

Prepare to submit the following:

1.       Birth Certificate

2.       Cenomar

3.       NBI, detach the personal copy

4.       Sealed Medical

 All original on PSA/NSO paper.

My kids submitted their Birth Certificate, sealed medical and NBI Clearance (if your Kids are over 16 year old, they need an NBI Clearance). My 19 year old was asked if she is single.

All of these were attached to each of our passports.

I was asked of the following: (she was encoding as we speak)

1.       Name and birthday, my children were asked of the same. Nothing more was asked from them.

2.       Petitioner’s birthday

3.       I was asked if I am single? I answered yes.

4.       Previous Marriage – yes. Asked for my annulment papers. I gave her a photo copy. I did not attached my authenticated MC, she didn't ask for it. 

       She also mentioned that my kids have a different family name (their father's) but     didn't ask anything else. My kids are 19 and 16 years old.

5.   Previous US Visa- Yes, she asked to see my Visa. It was on my old passport so I submitted my old passport. She kept my old passport and attached it my documents.

6.       She also asked if my kids have a US Visa. They don’t, I was asked also if we were denied of a US Visa before. NO, she asked including the kids, I said No.

7.      Previous travel to other countries, and if I stayed or worked in other countries. I said yes we traveled before and mentioned the countries, only tourist and never worked to other countries. She asked same with the kids? I said yes, they have traveled with me.

8.       She saw that I have a previous petition and asked my Priority Date. I mentioned my priority date; I have my Notice of Approval among my files. I know it will come up, so I brought my papers. I have an F2B Petition, my Parents are LPR. My Mom filed for my Petition in 2012. She asked about my parents too. 

Then she examined the PINK Folder.

I looked closely so I saw my I-129 Form, she flipped on the pages and read, there were some post-its with notes she read the notes. She read my fiance’s attachment to I-129F Supplement: Part 2, Question 34a. Then she asked me if my fiancé is in the Military. I answered he was a veteran. It was mentioned on the supplement letter that's why I am sure it was the paper she was reading. She continued browsing and read on the notes. She asked me if I have some photos, I said yes. She said to show it to the CO later- she didn't look at the photos. Then she instructed us to proceed to STEP 3- Oath taking. Passports now are with the PINK folder. I asked if we don’t need anything else. She said No.

STEP 3- Oath Taking, American staff. Show your DS 160 Form, he pulled up the record on the Computer. He asked do you attest that all this information are true to the best of your ability? I answered Yes then asked us to scan our right hand. That’s it for Step 3. He didn’t asked us to read the Oath. Step 3 is super fast. Then he said proceed to STEP 4- INTERVIEW.

STEP 4- Interview. The moment we are all waiting for. Hahahha.. I am still not nervous, lol. We sit and wait for our turn, there was a line so you just have to sit and move when people are moving. Then the front line will be called to line up. There were several windows open around 8 windows for Step 4, so the line is moving fast. After around 30 minutes we stand to line up. I told my kids to listen on the questions being asked, we are now close to the windows so you can hear all the conversations. I instructed my kids to each just stand on my sides when we are at the windows.

We were standing not more than 5 minutes and it was our turn. J

American CO, Male – I approach and I said good morning. He asked for our number I mentioned our number and show our DS 160.  He stood up and pick up the PINK Folder. Flip it open and asked how are we, I said we are good and ask him how is he. He said, super! Without smiling, I said that's great! He gave me the pamphlet on Domestic Violence. 

  Then he started asking questions: (while encoding)

1.       Name of Fiancé

2.       Ages of K2, my kids answered.

3.       How did you two meet? I answered, when and where we met.

4.       He was typing on his computer.

5.       Tell me more on how you two meet. I answered again with more details.

6.       Was he married before? I said Yes,

7.      Have he visited you before, I said yes and mentioned the dates when my fiancé was here.

8.       What’s his job?  I answered, job and Company.

9.       Asked for Photos: I gave him our Photos, he looked are the first page and flip on the second and returned it back to me.  That was just seconds that he looked at the photos.

10.  So you have a previous petition. I answered yes and told him that my Mom petitioned me and until now it was pending. He looked at the calendar and said, yes it will be pending for a long time.

11.   He went back typing for awhile.

12.    Then he said, Everything looks good, you are approved!

13.    Yayy!! We are so delighted and smiling.

14.    CO - I have no more questions, you may proceed to Step 5.

15.   I thank him and bid him a nice day. Still Not smiling ahahahh. 

Note: the Affidavit of support, tax papers, W2s, letter of intent to marry, proof of ongoing relationship (emails, chat, calls, etc) were not asked from me.

Time check: 11:30am.

STEP 5: The line was Super long! All IV applicants were there and there were only 2 windows open. After awhile then opened 2 more; still so many people are on queue.  

I am not expecting to go to Step 5 becauce I already registered on-line (ustraveldocs) for delivery of passport. After 30 minutes, we approached the window. Showed our DS 160 and she grab the PINK Folder again and scan our documents. She asked if we were done with biometric scan, I said yes; then asked if I registered at ustraveldocs; I said yes. She asked my daughter who is 19 if she is single, she asked her to sign a document/ waiver that she should remain single until she enter US otherwise her visa will be revoked.

She then instructed us that we can go home and our passports will be delivered to the address on my ustraveldocs registration. 

We are Overjoyed!! but starving. We ate breakfast at 5:30am. 

Oh the kids were complaining! They are disappointed that they were not asked of anything! They came prepared and reviewed details about my Fiancé. When I told my fiancé about it – he was laughing out loud.

Update: Received our Passports/Visa Packet on January 21, 2016. 


Here are what we received: 

1. The Visa Packet. Each on a sealed plastic envelop, inside is the Passport with Visa and a Brown envelope from the Embassy that should not be opened. SEE WARNING- read that before doing anything on your packet. 
The brown envelop as you can see has a triangular cut on side/ corner, you can actually take a peek of what are inside. It contains the I-129 packet we submitted to USCIS, documents submitted to the US Embassy Manila among other docs that I cannot really see what. They returned to me Photos, communication through Viber, calls thru viber and skype logs and fb screen grabs that were attached to the I-129F packet. 





2. Our Passport and Visa ( K1 and 2 K2s) with 6 months validity from our 1st day of Medical.  They also cancelled my B1/B2 Visa which is still valid until 2023. Well I don't need it anymore.
